Alfa Romeo Giulia GTC - 1965

Alfa Romeo Giulia GTC - 1965

The GTC was Alfa’s rare and almost forgotten intermediate model between the Giulietta Spider and the later Duetto Spider from 1966. It was the last car that was to be built at the famous Carrozzeria Touring on Via Ludovico da Breme in Milan were body work on expensive cars from Isotta Fraschini, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and Aston Martin among others had been hand built in small series for wealthy customers since 1925. In total a few short of 1000 cars in left and right hand drive versions were made before production ended after only a year. This makes the GTC one of the rarest post war Alfa Romeos.

This lovely GTC in Azurro Spazio with cognac interior was sold new in Palermo, Sicily in 1965. It is without a doubt one on the most original remaining samples of this rare car. The condition is superb throughout with excellent body, perfect mechanics and all trim and details present and correct. We personally sourced and collected this car in Bergamo, northern Italy in 2011 on customer order. The owner is now reducing his collection and we are happy to present this marvelous Alfa to the market.
